Zac Efron Shows off!

Zac Efron was in fine form.   The 25-year-old heartthrob set pulses racing as he strutted bare-chested with his shirt wide open while practicing his game on the Los Angeles set of Townies on Tuesday.   Zac, who plays a frat boy in the comedy, alternated between swinging a baseball bat and bouncing a basketball during what looked like rehearsals.

All eyes were not on the object in hand but on Zac’s sculpted chest and six-pack abs, which looked like a work of art in the sun.   Zac was getting ready to shoot a scene, sprinting around in flip flops – although sometimes barefoot – and grey track pants that were tugged down slightly to reveal his shorts underneath.   The young actor was surrounded by beer cans, which wasn’t surprising considering he plays a college boy whose antics affect the lives of his neighbours.

Zac broke his hand last month during a fight sequence with his co-star Dave Franco, but his injury seems to have healed nicely.   The blue-eyed star explained what happened during a recent appearance on Live With Kelly And Michael.   ‘I broke it a couple days ago on set during filming, it was during a stage fight with Dave Franco,’ Zac said at the time.

‘I had to go back to work so I couldn’t really wear a cast. So they [the medics] put like a titanium plate in it and a bunch of screws.   ‘I don’t know why I’m telling you this. My hand in theory is back to normal, it just looks really gross.’   The film also co-stars Rose Byrne, Seth Rogen and Lisa Kudrow.

Zac Efron sports college inking!

He has several tattoos, including a feather on his inner bicep and the phrase ‘YOLO’ on his right outer palm. And on Wednesday Zac Efron was showing off another one on the set of his new film.

The 25-year-old’s inking wasn’t permanent but displayed the Lambda Psi Beta signs from the Greek alphabet as he portrays the role of a University fraternity boy.

Zac teamed it with casual jeans and Nike trainers for filming scenes with co-star Seth Rogen in the comedy motion picture about ‘a frat boy whose behaviour affects a local neighbour’s family life,’ according to IMDb.   University fraternities are often known as Greek letter organisations, consisting of members from undergraduate years only, and are considered to be social groups.

In between recording scenes, the former High School Musical actor was spotted running over to the catering area which offered an assortment of hot drinks.

The heartthrob appeared to be getting his caffeine perk from a cup of tea as he was seen pouring boiling water over a bag before gathering round to chat with colleagues.

His right hand seemed back to normal after a recent injury.   While filming a fight scene with co-star Dave Franco, the action man broke the area on his body.

When he visited Live With Kelly & Michael earlier in April and said: ‘I had to go back to work so I couldn’t really wear a cast. So they [the medics] put like a titanium plate in it and a bunch of screws.   ‘I don’t know why I’m telling you this. My hand, in theory, is back to normal, it just looks really gross.’   The synopsis of his new film states that family man (Rogen) and his wife (Byrne) find their lives a ruined by a rowdy fraternity house nearby.   The husband eventually goes head-to-head with the group’s leader, played by Efron.   According to Indiewire Craig Roberts will join Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Dave Franco as a fellow frat boy.

Making New Friends!

Talented Friends are great additions to any comedy.

And Lisa Kudrow certainly looked happy to be joining the case of new comedy Townies.   The 49 year-old was all business in her gray power pant suit as she joined Zac Efron on set.   The 25 year-old High School Musical leading man looked slick in a blue pin-striped button up, navy tie and slacks.

Also walking with Kudrow and Efron was 27 year-old actor Dave Franco, wearing a button up and tie in a more casual fashion.

The Townies hunk held a drink from Starbucks in his right hand, the same hand and wrist that was injured due to a fall during filming less than a week ago.

Puffiness due to swelling and bruised discoloration from the injury could still clearly be seen in Efron’s hand, though he had shed the protective cast and wrap that he had worn over the busy past few days.

Zac Efron’s Big Break!

Zac Efron injured his wrist while filming his latest movie.

The 25-year-old actor was spotted on location on Thursday with his right hand heavily bandaged after falling and hurting his wrist on the Los Angeles set of Townies.   A doctor was called to the set and apparently declared the actor unfit to film – before sending Efron home.

Zac was dressed casually in jeans and a printed T-shirt, with the large white cast covering his lower right arm.   Efron is starring in the college-based comedy alongside the likes of Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Dave Franco.   The Hollywood hunk – who hasn’t had a serious girlfriend since his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens– recently revealed he is currently single because he finds the dating process awkward and ‘forced’.

He explained: ‘Dating is kind of hard. Like dinner or something like that. Like a forced awkward situation is very strange.   ‘Especially for me, for some reason. I like to go and do something adventurous. I like to go out and do some sort of crazy activity.’   Zac also said he is very cautious when meeting someone new as he worries the girl might just be interested in his fame.

He explained: ‘You always have to be careful, I guess, about that kind of thing. Every day is a new experience and I take it as it comes.

‘Some people I worry about, some I really don’t have to.’
