Zac Efron injured his wrist while filming his latest movie.
The 25-year-old actor was spotted on location on Thursday with his right hand heavily bandaged after falling and hurting his wrist on the Los Angeles set of Townies. A doctor was called to the set and apparently declared the actor unfit to film – before sending Efron home.
Zac was dressed casually in jeans and a printed T-shirt, with the large white cast covering his lower right arm. Efron is starring in the college-based comedy alongside the likes of Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Dave Franco. The Hollywood hunk – who hasn’t had a serious girlfriend since his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens– recently revealed he is currently single because he finds the dating process awkward and ‘forced’.
He explained: ‘Dating is kind of hard. Like dinner or something like that. Like a forced awkward situation is very strange. ‘Especially for me, for some reason. I like to go and do something adventurous. I like to go out and do some sort of crazy activity.’ Zac also said he is very cautious when meeting someone new as he worries the girl might just be interested in his fame.
He explained: ‘You always have to be careful, I guess, about that kind of thing. Every day is a new experience and I take it as it comes.
‘Some people I worry about, some I really don’t have to.’
