Paris Hilton steps out looking Chic!

They say that money can’t buy you class, but it appears that heiress Paris Hilton has acquired it from somewhere.   We’re used to seeing the multimillionaire 32-year-old in gaudy low cut tops, tight-fitting dresses and all things pink.   So it came as a welcome change to witness Paris step out looking chic and sophisticated with her 21-year-old toyboy beau River Viiperi in New York on Wednesday.

Paris – who launched her own clothing line in 2007 – looked effortlessly stylish wearing a patterned black-and-white wrap-around dress, over-sized shades and a large black summer hat.

Although Paris couldn’t completely leave her love for pink alone, as her loyal boyfriend was seen carrying a leopard print bag with pink detail.

As the pair arrived at a hotel in the city, Paris looked demure as she politely posed for photographers, while River – a Spanish male model – was dressed far more casually in a tracksuit and sports jacket.

She looked a million miles away from her days on The Simple Life, when Paris had a penchant for all things diamante and velour.   Talking about her own style, Paris has said: ‘My fashion statement is to take risks and have fun with fashion. I like to be a trendsetter, and not just follow what is popular.’

But if her current look is anything to go by, it seems Paris might be ready to give up her trademark skimpy style and follow the more sophisticated fashion pack.

Last month, she tweeted a picture of herself looking made-under in just her underwear, with the caption: ‘Be who you are and say what you feel. Because those who matter don’t mind and those who mind don’t matter.’ And perhaps Paris is starting to re-think some of her staple wardrobe items.

The businesswoman was recently embroiled in a lawsuit with a lingerie company that she had signed a five-year deal with.

Proving that if you can’t beat them, join them, TMZ reported that she dropped the lawsuit against lingerie line Le Bonitas and the two have made peace, agreeing to a brand new lingerie and swimwear deal later this year.

Desert Chic!

Being famous surely has it’s perks. And at Coachella 2013, that means hanging out backstage with some of the biggest names in rock.

Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky pulled out their celebrity card as they made their way around the crowd of thousands on Friday, posing for snaps outside the presumably air-conditioned trailer of DJ Sece.

‘Backstage at #Coachella with my beautiful sis @NickyHilton,’ the reality star tweeted.  With temperatures reaching 90 degrees Fahrenheit they both dressed in printed sleeveless mini dresses.

The pair showed off their festival tresses, wrapping up their long blonde locks in tight braids and native-inspired headbands.

The 32-year-old’s model boyfriend River Viiperi was ready for the heat, stripping off his T-shirt.  ‘Having the best time showing @RealRiverViiperi for his 1st #Coachella. #GoodTimes,’ she wrote.

First up for the trio was catching DJ Nicky Romero, as River excited shared a snap from the crowd.

This year marks the first time that fans will have multiple chances of catching their favourte bands as the same acts are set to play on both weekends.   Blur and The Stone Roses, who recently reunited after a long hiatus, mark the festival’s return to its rock roots as Friday’s headliners.   The band Phoenix will take Saturday’s primetime spot and rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers will be returning for their third festival appearance on Sunday.

 

 

 

 

Such a gentleman!

They’ve been dating for seven months since meeting at New York Fashion Week.

And things are still going strong for Paris Hilton and her toyboy River Viiperi as the loved-up couple strolled hand-in-hand in Beverly Hills Friday.

The real-life Barbie and Ken were in great spirits after shoe-shopping at Barneys New York.

The 32-year-old socialite is clearly smitten with her Spanish model beau, who at 21 is 11 years her junior.

Paris flaunted her pins in an ultra-cute collared and belted sleeveless LBD, which she paired with black patent leather Mary Jane heels.

Meanwhile, her younger man River flaunted his hip-hop style in black harem trousers, a white T-shirt, and black high-tops.

Once at Hilton’s luxury white convertible, Viiperi dutifully held the door for his ladylove  and placed the shopping bag containing two shoe boxes into the boot.

The six-foot-two hunk has appeared in campaigns for American Eagle, Bershka, Calvin Klein, Armani Exchange, and Versace for H&M.

River isn’t the first model she’s dated. The often-engaged starlet was once set to marry Jason Shaw before they broke up in 2003.

The inseparable pair spent Thursday evening partying at Star Magazine’s Hollywood Rocks bash at Hollywood hotspot, Lure.

Bachelor star Sean Lowe, Sex and the City actor Gilles Marini, and gossip blogger Perez Hilton were also at the event.

Hilton, who sat in the driver’s seat, later tweeted a funny snap of herself surrounded by high heels to her 10.3 million followers.

Back in 2007, the Stars are Blind singer called her size 11 feet her most hated part of her body.

The famous heiress told Hilary.com: ‘Yeah, it sucks because I see all these super cute shoes in the stores – Gucci’s, YSL’s, Manolo’s – and when they bring them out in my size they look like clown shoes.’

Paris appears as herself in Sofia Coppola’s teenage heist flick, The Bling Ring, which comes out June 14.

Hilton was the actual first target of the real-life gang of thieves who robbed her of jewelry and clothing five different times between 2008-2009.

Bling Ring member Nick Prugo reportedly claimed he even did a ‘victory dance’ while wearing a pair of Hilton’s size 11 shoes.

After her disastrous DJ debut in Brazil last summer, Paris seems to have returned to simply ‘hosting’ club nights rather than providing tunes for them.
