Chris Brown and Rihanna in toxic Twitter exchange!

The on-again off-again couple finally seem to have called it quits last week. But Rihanna, 25, and Chris Brown, 24, have taken to Twitter to voice their mutual contempt for each other.

The music superstars sent out thinly veiled tweets on Thursday and Friday seemingly accusing each other of playing the field while they dated.

Rihanna started it off, uploading an Instagram picture on Thursday with the words:

‘If I drop all my hoes for you and we still don’t work out you owe me some hoes.’

Although the meaning isn’t clear, the picture insinuates that Rihanna either dropped all her friends when she was with Chris or that he was unfaithful to her.

Chris then upped the nastiness factor by tweeting on Friday: ‘She’s not mine if she’s everybody elses.’

The ex couple also sent out tweets on Wednesday that appeared to be directed at each other, with Chris tweeting:

‘Sometimes loving someone is too much! So loving from a distance will help everyone grow! Be blessed. Live ya life!’

Rihanna then tweeted her own message a short while later, stating:

‘Settling is not an option! Nothing less than 100% loyalty, honesty, and respect!! Love ain’t for kidz #butimsleeptho’.   Chris’ Friday tweet comes after reports that Rihanna was partying with ex JR Smith on Tuesday after her show in New York.

But the rapper isn’t blameless himself after he spent his birthday celebrations last weekend partying with ex-girlfriend Karreuche Tran.

The rapper recently made some kinder comments about the break-up during an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show

‘I’m always going to love that person … [but] I can’t be focused on wife-ing someone that young — I need to step forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be,’ he said.

Newly-single Rihanna shows off her figure

She and her on/off boyfriend Chris Brown appear to have finally broken up for good.   And Rihanna is making sure her rapper ex knows exactly what he’s missing.

The 25-year-old singer was a true bombshell in a blue miniskirt and completely unbuttoned shirt as she left her New York City hotel on Wednesday, posing with fans as she made her way to her waiting car.

The Barbadian beauty showed off her incredible legs in the high-waisted flirty turquoise skirt, her nude heels adding the illusion of even more length.

Rihanna paired the floaty number with a patterned shirt that she left completely unbuttoned, revealing her cleavage and a tattoo on her bust.

She wore her caramel-coloured hair in loose glamorous curls over her shoulders, the shaved side of her head on display due to her severe side parting. Rihanna sported her trademark glowing skin, which she highlighted with a touch of bronzer and a light pink lipstick.

The singer graciously posed with eager fans outside of her hotel, and laughed at something a man wanted to show her on his phone.

Rihanna appeared in good spirits, smiling gamely as she posed for the waiting cameras.

The pop star’s stunning appearance may cause her ex Chris to regret his recent comments about their breakup.

‘I’m always going to love that person … [but] I can’t be focused on wife-ing someone that young — I need to step forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be,’ Chris said about Rihanna on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show last week. But the rapper was pictured partying with his ex Karrueche Tran on his birthday this past weekend, suggesting he’s been more than fine partying without Rihanna by his side since the two called it quits last month.

 

 

 

 

Anne Hathaway steps out on dog walk!

Most dog walkers tend to opt for practical wellies and overcoats to protect them from the elements.

But Anne Hathway would have no doubt left her fellow pooch owners feeling more than a little under-dressed as she stepped out on a stroll in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday.

Channelling a French-inspired look, the Oscar-winning actress looked effortlessly chic as she pounded the pavements with her beloved canine companion, Esmeralda, in tow.

Proving less can certainly be more when it comes to fashion, the Les Miserables starlet completed her stylish ensemble with a pair of on-trend indigo flared jeans, white pumps and oversized tan-coloured shades.

With her adorable chocolate Labrador leading the way, Anne positively glided through the streets of the Big Apple with a breezy confidence as she went about her day.

The brunette beauty is still wearing her hair in the short style she has been fashioning since having it cut off for her Oscar-winning portrayal of tragic prostitute Fantine in Les Miserables.

And the actress showed off her naturally flawless porcelain skin by appearing to go make-up free for her day out in the city.

Anne, her husband Adam Shulman and their pet pooch Esmeralda divide their time between her native New York City and Los Angeles.

The actress has enjoyed a fantastic year after cleaning up during awards season, culminating in an Oscar for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables.   After taking a break following a hectic few months, she has recently been linked with the lead role in the remake of musical My Fair Lady.

Although the talented star is yet to confirm her part in Cameron Mackintosh’s adaption of the classic film, she has hinted that she might be attached to the project.

Biker Chick!

She’s never afraid to mix things up when it comes to experimenting with styles.   So when Katy Perry opted for a feminine look in a lace dress and floral jacket for a shopping trip in New York on Tuesday, she decided to add a tough edge by topping the ensemble off with a pair of black studded biker boots.

The 28-year-old singer looked chic in her blue and black lace dress, with a floral zip-up jacket and dark sunglasses as she enjoyed a spot of retail therapy with her stylist Johnny Wujek.

Katy added a biker chick touch to her ensemble with her boots, and topped of the look with a pair of sunglasses and powder pink handbag.

Meanwhile Johnny – who has gone on to appear as a creative director on America’s Next Top Model as Katy reached mega heights of fame – looked more casual in a blue shirt and rolled up beige trousers with a plaid jacket on top.   He teamed it with a baseball cap and also donned ebony boots.

The pair were on the hunt for the perfect pair of pumps, with Katy joined by designer Tommy Hilfiger at one point during the search.

Tweeting a picture of the pair from behind, Katy wrote: ‘Today my friend Tommy Hilfiger took me shoe shopping #kingofclassic.’   Meanwhile, Katy has revealed in a new interview that she thought she was ‘the chosen one’ when she started working with music producer Glen Ballard at the tender age of 17.

She said: ‘At the beginning I was working with Glen and everything was cool. I had black Jetta, my first car, and I thought I was the s**t. I remember my cousin said, “You should be grateful for this because it could all go flying out the window at any moment.”   ‘And I was like, “Not for me. I’m the chosen one.” Then the rug got pulled from underneath me.’   Katy had two record deals before she hit the bigtime with her track I Kissed A Girl in 2008.   She added to Britain’s OK! magazine: ‘I had no money, no car, I couldn’t pay the rent. I had this really skewed perspective of what it meant to make it.

‘I needed that to appreciate what I have now. I just keep that in mind when things go bad. There’s always a way for things to get better.’

How he stays so handsome!

Thanks to his suave image and dulcet tones, he’s one of the most lusted after singers in the world.   And Michael Bublé revealed one of the secrets to his appeal this week, as his model wife Luisana Lopilato posted a picture of him wearing a face pack.   Showing off his metrosexual side, the 37-year-old singer seemed happy to pose with the dark grey mask covering his face while wearing a stony expression.

Michael may have spent Thursday busking on the streets of New York, but the Canadian crooner proved that he still likes a little pampering from time to time.

Perhaps taking some beauty pointers from his 25-year-old wife, who is pregnant with their first child, the star lathered on the thick mask over his stubbly beard.

In a bid to get smoother and softer skin, Michael seemed to be taking his facial seriously, keeping a straight face while it dried so as not to crack it.

The singer was clearly comfortable with the fact that he has a skincare regime, allowing his other half to post the snap on her Instagram account.   Since settling down with his Argentinian wife, Michael has obviously been looking after himself a lot more, slimming down and toning up as well as looking after his skin.   The singer, who wrote Just Haven’t Met You Yet for Luisana, recently told that he can’t wait to be hands on dad.

He said: ‘I can’t wait to be a daddy, I am really excited about it. I am definitely going to be a hands-on dad, whatever that means.   On Thursday morning, commuters in NYC were given a surprise as the star sang a capella at the subway station beneath 66th Street Lincoln Center.

Joined by the a capella group Naturally 7, Buble sang his version of the Jackson 5 classic ‘Who’s Lovin’ You’ to a gleeful throng of most female fans crowded on the subway platform.

Michael is currently promoting his newly released album To Be Loved, doing the media rounds in the US.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield remain inseparable

They’ve been busy working away on new movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2.   But it seems real life lovers Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield can’t get enough of each other even when they’re on breaks from filming.   The pair have been spotted cuddling on set as they shoot their second movie together.

And even when they’ve not been required to be at each other’s sides they’ve made sure they are.   On Wednesday the pair were treated to a rare break from being in front of the cameras.   And keen to get some alone time without every move being recorded on tape they remained inseparable.   They were seen wandering around looking content as they linked arms, while Andrew played the protective boyfriend and placed his arm around her shoulders at one point.

The pair walked around The Highline Park in Downtown Manhattan, New York.   And they seemed completely in sync with each other as they both dressed in smart casual attire.   Emma, 24, stepped along in black skinny jeans and a stripey T-shirt with black shoes and a denim jacket.

And she accessorised with a baggy beanie hat and sunglasses for the stroll.   Grinning at her man, the 29-year-old The Social Network star also wore shades as he walked along in jeans and smart trainers with a T-shirt and cardigan on.   They seemed a million miles away from the hectic air of the movie set as they chatted among themselves and tried to blend into the crowds.

Bethenny Frankel on Divorce!

Bethenny Frankel may seem like she has it all together, but as she revealed during her April guest-hosting stint on Good Day New York, life after divorce is a daily struggle. It’s been a little more than three months since the Skinnygirl mogul announced the end of her two-year marriage to Jason Hoppy, and though the initial shock of their split has worn off, the heartache has not.

“It’s rough,” she confessed to morning anchor Greg Kelly. “I have to say, divorce is the most difficult thing you could ever go through in your entire life.”

Frankel, 42, wasn’t expecting it to be easy, of course, but she also wasn’t expecting it to be this hard. “I never heard how excruciating it is,” she admitted.

Asked whether her split from the 41-year-old pharmaceutical sales exec had been acrimonious, the Bethenny host replied that the experience of divorce in general was just a “brutal, unnatural situation” — one she “never thought” she’d find herself in. Her one saving grace? The couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Bryn, whom Frankel called “amazing.”

Frankel and Hoppy announced their separation at the end of December last year. She filed for divorce in early January; three weeks later, her ex counter-filed with aggressive papers of his own, in which he requested primary custody of Bryn, child support, medical and dental expenses, and exclusive use of the couple’s Tribeca loft in New York City.   “I’m going through something very difficult,” the Real Housewives alum told Extra’s AJ Calloway in February, adding that she felt both “good and terrible” about the split. “And you know what? Every dark cloud has a silver lining. I do have a beautiful daughter and I have a lot of things to be thankful and grateful for.”

The look of Love!

As One Direction’s world tour gets underway, Liam Payne is intent on spending as much time with his girlfriend as possible.

The teenage pin-up was seen escorting dancer Danielle Peazer to exclusive London nightclub Whisky Mist on Tuesday night.

Earlier in the evening, Liam had been performing at the O2 Arena with the rest of the band, so was probably excited to unwind with his nearest and dearest.

Liam looked happy and relaxed as he left the club in the early hours of the morning, holding hands with the pretty brunette.   Dressed in a pair of black jeans and white Converse trainers, he wore his polo shirt buttoned all the to the top, giving him a clean-cut look.

An enormous gold watch gave the only clue that he wasn’t just an average teen on a night out with his sweetheart.

Danielle, 24, showed off her incredible figure in a pair of tight black trousers and a cropped grey T-shirt that featured an applique jewel motif, and highlighted her enviably toned tummy.

 

Her usually curly brunette hair was blow-dried straight for her date with Wolverhampton-born Liam.

The couple are thought to have one of the strongest relationships in pop music, with Liam breaking millions of Directioners’ hearts when he hinted that he may even quit the band to be with Danielle, a dancer, full time.

The Daily Star reported that Liam misses Danielle so much while he is travelling around fulfilling work duties that he has considered quitting the band altogether.   They quoted the singer as saying: ‘I can’t stand being away from Danielle. If it’s between the band and her, I’ll choose her.’   The paper also reported that of the members of One Direction – Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis  Tomlinson and Niall Horan – it is Liam who suffers the most from homesickness.

He reportedly even asked bosses if Danielle could accompany him and the band on their gruelling  Take Me Home world tour, which will see them visit 118 countries between now and October.

However, his request was denied and he was told that he should be concentrating on work.

It’s Liam and Danielle’s second shot at romance following a split last year.

The pressures of touring kept them apart for long periods of time and their relationship floundered.

This too was was said to be of concern to the Up All Night singer.   A source told the Daily Star: ‘Since getting back together with Danielle at the end of last year they have grown much closer and really bonded. Liam hates being away from her.

‘He relies on her for so much emotional support. Some of the other lads in the group are the  total opposite – they just want to party and chat up girls.’

Danielle might take comfort in knowing that should she want to see Liam, she only has to take a tube to Baker Street.   It was recently revealed that One Direction are to be immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds.

Just like their human counterparts, the waxworks will be embarking on their own world tour later this year, visiting New York and Sydney.

The models will go on show in London, New York and Sydney from April 28 until early 2014.   Fans had a chance to see the waxworks in their formative stages when a short segment appeared on ITV’s Daybreak on Wednesday morning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mom will make it better!

She confirmed her split from her husband on Saturday, and Mamie Gummer headed straight for some home comforts.   On Sunday she was spotted spending some quality time with her mother Meryl Streep in Vancouver,  Canada.   It looked like an outing with her famous family member was just what the doctor ordered, as mother and daughter were both seen giggling away as they left a hotel together.

Meryl, 63, was dressed in a colourful printed shirt under an oversized black cardigan and matching trousers and clunky heels.   Meanwhile Mamie, 29, kept comfortable in a soft white knit top, baggy dove grey pants, black canvas shoes and a chunky scarf.   Both Mamie and estranged husband Benjamin Walker confirmed to Us Weekly via their representatives that they had ended their relationship.

The Side Effects actress’ spokesperson insists that, ‘it’s very amicable,’ however.

The couple engaged in 2009 and wed in July of 2011 at Mamie’s parents’ estate in Connecticut.   When the two met while performing in the spring 2008 production of Les Liasons Dangereuses on Broadway, actor Benjamin cited the big movie hit of the same name to say that Mamie ‘was the Uma to my Keanu.’

Meryl’s eldest daughter has recently been the star of two failed television series – 2012’s Emily Owens, M.D. and 2011’s Off the Map.

Conversely, her husband has seen better results.   The 30-year-old actor has been starring as Brick in the current New York production of Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which had its last showing on Saturday.

Throughout his interview, Mamie sent him two texts.

‘What, Mamie?’ he joked with the interviewer. ‘She always worries about me in these things, and rightfully so.   ‘I don’t have much experience doing it, so I never know when I’m going to sound like an ass.’

 

 

 

 

Lindsay Lohan rolls up 48 Minutes Late!

Lindsay Lohan has arrived in court for a hearing that will determine whether the actress goes to jail or averts a trial on charges that she lied to police.   The troubled 26-year-old actress took a red-eye from New York to Los Angeles in a last-minute bid to make the 8:30am hearing after she deplaned an earlier commercial flight amid safety concerns.

In the mad dash to avoid a bench warrant being issued for her arrest Lohan’s private plane landed five minutes after she was due to appear at the courthouse where a judge awaited her appearance.

She arrived 48 minutes later, and is believed to have struck a plea deal with prosecutors as talks continue in the judge’s chambers.

According to TMZ, Lohan’s lawyer’s co-counsel was seen pulling a plea form from a desk before returning to the chambers, over two hours after the actress made her arrival.

Lohan appeared to have time to make a quick change. Last seen wearing all black in New York, she arrived to the courthouse in a white and rose coloured blouse, sheer white skinny pants and grey heels.   She shielded her eyes with round sunglasses as she was escorted inside amid a flurry of reporters.

Despite the entourage a bystander managed to maneuver through the crowd to throw gold glitter  confetti on the star as she made her way in.   According to the New York Daily News, Lohan’s lawyer at one point leaned into the actress and indicated he hoped the hearing would end promptly.

‘And then you can go surfing,’ he is quoted as saying, inspiring a laugh from the star.   The appearance followed a dramatic night of last-minute travel arrangements for Lohan.

Entertainment Tonight reports her plane landed at Atlantic Aviation at Los Angeles International Airport rather than Van Nuys airport, where she was initially scheduled to deplane.   The 26-year-old secured a flight aboard a private jet to get her back to Los Angeles in time for her court appearance on Monday morning.   She is in a race against the clock to make it back from New York to attend her scheduled trial over charges that she violated her probation last June.

A source told E! Newsthat Lindsay was able to secure a flight on a private jet that was delayed slightly as the plane will have to make one stop to refuel along the way.   The plane appears to have been provided by a Los Angeles-based energy drink company for which  she has made promotional appearances.
