Holly Madison has shared the first pictures of her newborn daughter. The former Playboy model and fiance Pasquale Rotella welcomed their first child, Rainbow Aurora, last month.
The 33-year-old has now posed in a series of tender portraits with her new precious bundle of joy.
The former girlfriend of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner told In Touch last week: ‘Just holding her is so much fun.’ The star of The Girls Next Door insists that everything about motherhood has been amazing – even her delivery. ‘I had an epidural, so it was fun. She made it easy on me,’ Holly told the magazine.
‘Even the delivery was easy – I was actually laughing as I was pushing!’ The little girl weighed 7-pound, 2-ounce when she was born on March 5.
Holly’s fiance Pasquale, organiser of the annual Electric Daisy Carnival music festival, is also loving parenthood.
‘Like all babies, she has her moments. But I’m so in awe of her that I even think her screams are cute,’ Holly said.
While the baby’s unusual name has drawn criticism – some have claimed the name sounds like that of an exotic dancer – Holly has just laughed off the harsh comments. ‘If getting teased about her name is the worst thing that’s going to happen to her, bring it on,’ Holly said.
The name the star of Las Vegas, Nevada, stage performance Peep Show, revealed is inspired by a school friend. ‘I was always envious of her name.’ The star revealed now that little Rainbow has come along she cannot wait to give her lots of brothers and sisters.
‘We want Rainbow to have lots of brothers and sisters. I’d love to have six.’
Holly shot to fame as Hugh’s number one girlfriend at the Playboy Mansion as part of the reality show Girls Next Door. Both the 86-year-old Hugh and Holly often spoke about how they would be together forever, but with the famous magazine mogul signalling both children and marriage was not an option for him, the couple split in 2008. Hugh then shocked the world when he became engaged to his now wife 24-year-old Crystal Harris. Crystal called off the engagement just a few days before the wedding but the couple reignited their relationship and tied the knot on New Years Eve.
