Ellen DeGeneres purchases $26.5 million Montecito mansion!

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have just added a new jewel to their collection of worthy homes.

According to TMZ, the 55-year-old talk show host and 40-year-old actress have just dropped $26.5 million on a massive and breathtaking mansion in Montecito, the exclusive and pricey area over-looking the Pacific just outside of Santa Barbara, California.

The deal reportedly went down last week for the house, which is 10,522 square feet and sits on a whopping 13 acres of some of the most scenic and pricey coastal real estate in California.

It features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and nice fireplaces and ocean views from most places in the house.

 

Making up for lost time

They looked close when they reunited earlier this month to celebrate Paris Jackson’s 15th birthday.   And it seems it wasn’t a one-off occasion, as Debbie Rowe and her daughter were spotted enjoying quality time together once again as they headed to lunch together in California on Sunday.   The pair showed they are serious about forging a real relationship with each other for the first time since Debbie signed away all parental rights to her late father Michael Jackson in 2011.

Dressed in a pair of cut-off denim shorts, with Dr. Marten boots and a camouflage jacket, the young girl flashed the rock sign and a smile to waiting photographers.   Completing her edgy look she wore a Kurt Cobain T-shirt, while her cropped hair fell over her eyes.

While her mother may not have the same rock chic style, simply opting for a pair of jeans and T-shirt, she too looked comfortable and at ease.

And as Debbie hopped into her car, Paris jumped into the passenger seat next to her showing that despite her rather unconventional upbringing she’s still an average teenage girl.

No doubt the pair still have plenty to catch up on as they have only been in touch following Michael’s tragic passing in 2009.   The lunch trip comes just a few days after the first picture of the pair together surfaced.

The touching image shows Debbie with her arm around Paris as they celebrated the teenager’s 15th birthday at, according to Entertainment Tonight, Ahi Sushi in Studio City, California on April 3.   Paris appeared serene and content as she leaned in close to her mother, a dermatologist’s nurse, who looked thrilled to be included in her daughter’s birthday celebration.

Again Paris – the youngest of Michael and Debbie’s two children – showed off her edgy style by wearing her short dark hair swept across her forehead and highlighting her eyes with thick black liner.

Paris said: ‘When I’m with my mom, we don’t really have security with us. Which is really nice.

Paris’ uncle Jermaine Jackson recently said he approved of the pair’s burgeoning relationship.

He told TMZ: ‘I think that’s wonderful. The kids need their mum. I think it’s great. That’s their mother. That’s wonderful. That’s a good thing.’

Debbie and Michael met when he was a patient at the specialist skin clinic she worked at when he was being treated for his chronic vitiligo.

The pair were married between 1996 and 1999, and Debbie gave full custody of her two children with Michael, Prince and Paris, during their divorce proceedings in 1999.

She later took things one step further in 2001, and relinquished all parental rights to the children, who were just toddlers at the time.

However, after the singer’s death in June 2009, Debbie, 54, reached an agreement with Michael’s mother – who became the children’s’ legal guardian – for supervised visitation rights.

Ke$ha shares Cannabis Spliff with Snoop Dog!

Snoop Dogg and Ke$ha clearly don’t know the smoking laws.

The legendary rapper and the young singer walked on stage at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night smoking what appeared to be a cannabis joint.

They passed it back and forth during their presentation and left it up to the audience to decide what they were really puffing.   While it was difficult to tell whether it was marijuana or tobacco in the spliff, 26-year-old Ke$ha’s facial expressions seem to suggest the former.

Rapper Snoop, who currently goes by the name Snoop Lion, wore shades as he puffed away.

The 41-year-old is no stranger to smoking pot in public, as he has been arrested multiple times for marijuana use and possession in the past and has been a long time advocate for legal marijuana use.

Even though smoking marijuana with a medical license in California is legal, it’s illegal to smoke pot in a public place, much less on national television at the MTV Movie Awards.   Regardless of what they were smoking, considering the majority of the audience are minors, the stunt probably won’t be very well-received.

The Single mother workout!

She’s a proud single mom, so when it comes time for a bit of fitness, she’s happy to take her son Jackson along.

Charlize Theron and her one-year-old son enjoyed a bit of mommy and me time on Friday as the pair set off on a hiking adventure at Runyon Canyon park in Hollywood on Friday.

The 37-year-old sported a sleek and slouchy look, showing off her toned arms in a striped blue vest top and loose-fitting grey sweatpants.

Charlize added a touch of chic with a pair of cool black sunglasses and proudly flaunted her newly highlighted locks.

Despite showing off her muscles, the South African-born star still struggled with pulling her son’s pushcart out of the boot of her car.

But they were soon off and Charlize placed her young son into the pram for a run through  the popular park in the Hollywood Hills.

Trailing behind the pair were their two dogs, who looked to be enjoying the burst of  California sunshine.

Charlize, who once admitted to being a heavy smoker, has said that turning to yoga and  exercise has helped her keep a healthy lifestyle.   ‘I’m sure there are women who never have to worry about what they eat. But I do,’ she recently told Vogue magazine.

‘I exercise a lot, and I hike a lot. My mom and I hike at least three times a week.’

She continued, talking about how her tall lean frame has set her apart from the mainstream image of beauty in Hollywood.

‘I was too tall, too big, too late for the supermodel look of the Eighties. Kate Moss and  all the tiny, grungy girls had just become fashionable, and I didn’t fit the bill.’

Pretty as a Flower!

Reese Witherspoon shows off her thin pins in a floral skirt as she grabs a lunch to go.

She’s been taking to the gym lately to get back into her pre-baby figure.

So it’s no wonder Reese Witherspoon also chose to take her meal to go as she took a stroll in Santa Monica, Calif. on Friday.

The 36-year-old actress looked flawless as she wore her straight blonde tresses loose and shielded herself from the California sunshine in a pair of black Ray Ban sunglasses.

The Water For Elephants star took a break from her usual all black ensembles by sprinkling in a bit of colour with a flowery red skirt that showed off her thin pins.

She also worked in some gold accents, matching the buckles on her pointy flats with her leather purse.

Reese, who gave birth to her third child, Tennessee James, in September, seems to have worked back to her pre-baby figure.

For a busy actress such as Reese, staying fit is important.

The mother-of-three puts in several sessions at the gym a week where she does yoga and Pilates.

Reese has two films in pre-production including Wish List, about how life changes for a  thirtysomething career woman after she throws a coin into a magical fountain, and the  romantic comedy Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.

In addition to her hugely-successful acting career, it was recently revealed that Reese has once again turned her hand to singing.

Michael Bublé revealed earlier this month that after watching the Oscar-winner in Walk The Line – where she played country crooner June Carter – he reached out to Reese to ask her to do  a collaboration.

Alicia Keys certainly made sure to command attention as she paraded her impressive curves in a plunging sequin leotard at her Set The World On Fire Tour on Tuesday night.

Flashing a hint of toned and taut midriff with just a tiny mesh overlay protecting her modesty , the 32 year old singer looks positively incredible as she strutted her stuff in front of a legion of fans.

In contrast to her daring top , The mother of one teamed the sexy garment with a more demure pair of high-waisted black cigarette pants.

Alexander Skarsgard covers his battered and bruised face!

After appearing quite battered and bruised on Friday , Alexander Skarsgard did a better job of covering up his battle wounds on Monday as he went to lunch with some friends.

The 36 year old , who pirtrays vampire Eric Northman on True Blood , displaying conspicuous bruises on his neck and jaw just a few days prior to his friendly outing in sunny Los Feliz California.

The obvious abrasions drew suspicion that one of his action packed roles that often feature a good deal of fisticuffs – could be taking its toll on him.

No matter what the cause , the famously dapper swede has not looked himself since Friday.

True blood is currently shooting its sixth season and the actor’s character is always getting incolved in some kind of physical ruckus. Which could be the reason he is looking so battered and beaten.

as he gave a mystery woman a goodbye hug at a Los Angeles hotel on Monday.

The lady who bore a slight resemblance to his Playboy ex Nicole Narain wore a skimpy
blue dress that surely caught the former line dancing instructor’s eye. Last year the Irish favourite appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show and begged for tips on how to bag himself a girlfriend.

And it seems persistence has paid off in the end for the former Ballykissangel star , Who looked dressed down in a green combat jacket , T-shirt and jeans.
